Anyone know if you can block a number from calling you?
How about is it possible to get your area code changed but not your number?

You can't block numbers from calling you, but you can get your number changed as long as someone else doesn't already have that number (in the area code you want). They will charge you to change the number though.

what kind of phone do you have, i had a motorola V220.Go to the secuirty function, you had the option of block all calls,calls not on your address book and calls on your address allowed only. try it out.

I have a nokia and i don't see anyhting like that on my phone.

i'm pretty sure it's possible as long as that numbered is not currently being used by someone else right now. the only way to find out is to go to a cingular shop.

or just save the time and buy a motorola they have the security function to block callers and calls.

You can get your nember changed for free. Juat tell them a) you are getting harrasing calls, or b) Whoever had the number previous has people still calling that number a couple times a day.
