im getting a new hood for my coupe. and dont know which one to get.
at first i wanted a 3in cowl but after seeing a couple coupes with 3in cowls they look a little on the small side. and i started to consider a 4in cowl.

damn the mods need to upgrade the site, so we can have polls.(ill chip in a few bucks)

anyone have pics of a fox with a 4in cowl hood.
and before its asked the car will soon have to power to back up the look.

Go to the website in my signature and look at my old convertible. It has a 4 inch hood.

Personally, I think they look like ass. So, I sold the car shortly after purchasing it.

Between the two, 3 inch, if you need the clearance. Otherwise , stock hood.

Unless you need clearance, as already stated..... 2.5" is the biggest you should go.

Anything bigger just doesn't look right on a notch, IMO.

I have a somewhat of a RR hood... Does have that double hump look like the RR hood. Bought it for $50 bux, and I haven't actually seen one(in person). Last time I saw one was in the MM&FF a few years ago. I'll snap a pictures of it and post it.

A stock hood is the best choice for a fox body IMHO. Why would anyone want a hood that that looks a fukkin hill/mountain unless they actually needed the clearance. [Eek!]

i always wanted a cowl hood for my "highway", to me it makes it look more aggressive, just need some wider tires for the back for the def agressive look.

A 3 inch cowl looks perfect on a notch its way more aggresive and 10000x better than a stock hood.
