Anyone have one or know of certain kind they recomend?

Also not sure on price range I'm looking to spend yet as I don't know how much they go for.

It'll be for use at home on various automotive projects.

make sure to get one that you can add soap to, it makes it work even better on severely oiled stuff
, like Fords [Big Grin]

without the soap there is sometime still a thin residue without soap, using steam and soap gets stuff very clean

I use an industrial steam cleaner for automotive stuff, its meant to for drill rig decon, blast harder than a pressure washer with steam [Big Grin]

So is gas or electric better and why or will each one push out the same heat and pressure?

How about prices?

price couldnt tell you, but i gave 4 of them away, out of the 4 you could have made 2 work with no extra parts

might be able to get you one of them, thye are good size though

I have only ever used diesel/kerosene burners, i doubt the elctric ones could generate enough heat, unless you have 480 three phase to power it [Big Grin]

because he wants to use it more than once

personally i think its a little overkill, i wouldn't use one if I had to buy it

spray degreaser from a weed sprayer, let it sit for half an hour, then spray with a pressure washer, just did my cobra and its squeaky clean

Pressure washer just doesn't cut it sometimes.

Hmm I see what you mean about it not being hot enough.

I think I have used one of the ones your talking about in the past and that thing kicked ass.

So watcha got? How about you just donate me one of the good ones [Wink] .
