Finally I fould another Kings fan on this board. Artest brings toughness that is going to rub off on the Kings. Reef has been showin that hes a soldier too, playin with a wired jaw i mean come on. I hope that "soft" stereotype will start to disappear for the kings now. After tonights game they are 2.5 out of the eighth spot. Watch out after the all-star break, i think they will go on a serious run, especailly with Bonzi coming back. Plus Martin and Garcia are starting to show that they can ball. With those two coming off the bench tuey should be in good shape pretty soon

I don't know about this trade, I’m a huge king’s fan. First I understand it is strictly business but the way they went about trading peja was all wrong. Even Peja felt disrespected and made it publicly known. I know they wanted to get rid of him before the free trade hit but seriously 7 years with the team and he has was a nba all star for many years...
Secondly ron made it very clear that he did not want to play for the kings. I hope he doesn't become another TO and plague the team. I bet you by the end of the season he will be gone and our only player worth a shit is bibby... Hell even miller has fallen off big time this year he can't even make a shot in the paint!

Kings fan too and still don't understand some of the moves they've made. As for Peja, I really don't care that they traded his ass, All-Star or not, he always disappeared during crunch time aka the playoffs, albeit one game against the Mavs.
I think a good squad would of been...

I think they should have kept bobby jackson and dumped bibby, but thats another story. Dumping Peja is good for both team IMO. Indy gets rid of their problem child and finally the kings get someone that can stop people from having career days on them, and get some of that "soft as baby shit" out of their system. But they still have a long way to go before they challenge for anything besides the final spot in the playoffs.

I'm an Indy fan myself, I'm sorry to see Artest go. He does have alot of passion for the game and a very good player as well but he didn't want to be there. We lose some with Peja coming over but we gain more of an outside threat. Sacramento will be the biggest winner in this trade.

i feel like most of my friends in that Peja ws not going to get us to the ring with artest they are looking ahead and can be just a couple pieces away from being contenders and not pretenders they are soft and i thought that skinner would get more run block some shots and help in the middle but i get more playing time than he does i look forward to the rest of the season
