can anyone give me a step by step process on how to remove a 99+ rear bumper? thanks!

i'd imagine it's held together with the same type of fasteners the fox body panels are.
just go buy a Chiltons or just start taking shit apart.

It's fairly easy. You have to remove the liner in the trunk (right and left side as if you were changing a taillight bulb) to easily access the bolts. If I remember right it is only 2 nuts or bolts on each side that hold the bumper on. Once the bolts are removed I believe it dislodges like the front bumper. Make sure there are no rivets attached underneath the bumper. It's been a while since I had to change mine, but I remember it being really easy.
