What's so "ouch" about that? If it's negative. I don't mean it...

haha seriously i was thinking the same thing. What did you do to it. Did you rebuild it just to freshen the motor up or did you rebuild it because of future poweradders you might be adding

Glad you've got it back Lauren. If it sat in my storage, a.k.a. work any longer, we were gonna part it out and send you the proceeds, minus 25%. It's literally a brand new powerplant fellas. I cleaned anything that could be cleaned internally, new IMRC controller, the works. It runs like a top. I was pretty happy with the quick turnaround, even with my lil "eye" incident. One week isn't too long when it's been sitting 3+ months. Oh, and the "pics"...they will be up soon. It's nothing to be happy about, that's for sure.
Lauren...have you check your oil level today???

Thanks guys for all the congrats!
As for the engine, it was just a kickass rebuild with nothing extra, but after I break her in and stretch her legs a few, I do have plans for making her whistle That damn break-in period is killing me right now. I can't even take her above 60 yet. I cant wait to see what she can do once the engine has time to get worn in.
LOL JohnB~Hmmmm my oil....going down by the day Boy is she thirsty!
On Edit: What do you guys think I would get adding a vortech s-trim with 8lbs of boost? Is it "do-able?" When would it be safe to add it to the "new motor?" Im guessing around 450hp with a good tune. [ October 28, 2005, 09:36 AM: Message edited by: SpdDevl ]

Pretty much a stock motor with all new fittings and such. Only thing not stock is the intake. I was more into exhaust and gauges when I bought it.

Bad news guys.....
Car started acting up on me monday morning and its been in and out of the shop since then. Ford of Dublin believes I have some coolant problems because coolant isnt reaching the engine....trapped air, etc. Sounds like an easy fix but 24 hours later they are still trying to fix the problem because now I also have a check engine light that wont go away. Damn my car [ November 01, 2005, 05:43 PM: Message edited by: SpdDevl ]

Hate to say, but they are BS'n you. If there was trapped air, you couldn't have made it home the night you picked it up. It would have overheated. Did you have the CEL prior to it going to the dealership?
EDIT: car's here. Bad lower hose clamp...can you say broken? CEL is P0420...gonna reset it and see what happens. Next will be a rear O2 check, then cat's... [ November 01, 2005, 10:36 PM: Message edited by: JohnB ]

That sucks Lauren. I know what your going through though my Jeep won't start when the engine is hot. So if i drive it down to the store i am stuck there for a couple hours until it cools down. I can't figure out what the problem is! It runs badass though once it gets warmed up.
