I just did exactly that for the same reason. I'd been looking for an '11 to '13 sedan with modest mileage but found a low mileage 2009 V that I couldn't pass up.
To the OP, congrats on the new Caddy! I actually prefer the looks of the new V but automatic only was a deal breaker.

Very nice. I just picked up a low mileage CPO 2013 V2 a few months ago. I've added a ported throttle body and intake for a nice little bump in power. You will love that car.
