A zex wet kit would your best choice imo. It's a easier and simple kit to install. Works great and I ran a wet kit for 4 years never failed on me.

Go with a Nitrous Express plate kit it's a pretty simple install and they have a variety of jets ranging from 35hp to about 200hp I think but NX Ftw.

I would do a purge kit. The purpose for a purge kit is to get rid of air in your nitrous lines so when you are about to spray you get a hard hit no lag. I would do a purge kit, bottle warmer and a window switch.

The ZEX kit is "idiot proof" as far as install. If this is your first experience with Nitrous i would suggest this kit. The install is straight forward, and it's the safest kit due to it having it's own control box an throttle activation.

You want safe, or you want a real kit? Zex kits suck ass, for anything but the very basics. I'd also not run a dry kit. Dry makes the injector make up the extra fuel requirements.

I'd go with a good NOS kit. Make sure its a Wet kit and install a purge kit. A heater blanket is also good! Install is easy, I installed my first kit myself with just following instructions.

He stated he wanted a "starter" kit a Zex kit is as simple and basic it gets. NX and NOS kit is a better kit for the "serious" nitrous users.

I ran a nx wet kit with a 100shot on my 00gt. And never had an issue. Just make sure u ran a higher octane everytime u use it. I also ran full synthetic oil and the cheap shit royal purple crap. And make sure u have a window switch. [ 2014-05-07, 08:29 AM: Message edited by: losbadgts ]
