I feel bad for the family's of the two people he killed. I'll be curious to see what information comes out about WHY he did it & if he knew the people he killed.

I agree with both of you. @ the AW comment. You and the rest of us responsible gun owners know that anti gun people come out of the woodwork when something like this happens.
I'm willing to bet that the number of positive shootings ( meaning a bad guy was killed.) is kept from becoming national news because it shows the flip side of defensive gun ownership.
Honestly the first lever action rifles at their time would have been the equivalent of an assault weapon in today's world. But people don't think twice about banning a tube feed repeating rifle that shoots larger bullets then an average AR & AK rifle ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

More states need to follow California's lead and enact tighter gun laws.

Lastly 2 people killed and the shooter killing himself is far from being a " Mass Shooting ". If that was the case then city's like Chicago, Detroit, Oakland, Baltimore & D.C have mass shootings almost everyday. Funny thing is everyone of those city's unlisted are all run by Democracts...... Oh and have some of the strictest gun laws.

Yep that makes a lot of sense, ban guns and this will never happen. Laws work so well when dealing with people who are crazy.
I think if they wanted to stop murders all they have to do is make a law that bans all murder. Now that's a great idea!
