My dads 76 ranchero with a 351 Cleveland has been sitting for some years and is just rotting away. My dad said I could do what I want with it, just don't know what that is.
My questions are
Should I sell it? Would it be worth anything? Donate it?
It's been under non op.
anyone know about these cars?

I would say it all comes down to how much meaning and history this car has with your fam. For example my dad has a truck that he wants to hand down to me that has been in the fam for 15+ years and I will never let him sell it or even think of selling it. I will slowly restore it back to its original form. It all depends how much meaning it has to you guys if not sell it.

100% correct. i'd say keep it stock restore it. but if you just don't like them, or it really means nothing to you but another car, sell it.

Unless your Dad swapped in the Cleveland, it's probably not a factory Cleveland. Ford only produced the Cleveland in the US from '70-'74. Beginning in '75 they used the 351M/400 to replace the Cleveland. They look similar but are very different. The 351M is generally considered the 2nd biggest turd V8, just behind the 255 of the '80-'81 Foxbodies.

If it's a real Cleveland, the engine would have some value, but if it's a 351M, not really.
