Was thinking about purchasing this as my first M4 style rifle, too lazy to build one up like most of you guys do here...lol It's a HSC-15 M4 HTF from Franklin Armory.
For sights I was thinking about going with an EOTech halographic red dot, i liked the way it looked on my brothers SWAT AR15 when he was on SWAT a few years back. [ February 11, 2012, 05:18 AM: Message edited by: 03SVTPower ]

seems pretty good. didnt list the twist of the barrel, has a better then average bolt/carrier, BUT could be better.
I personally would rather have a longer gas system then the bare recommendation. both my current AR's have oversized gas systems. my 16" has a mid length and my 18" 3-gun rifle has a rifle length setup.
that and if possible I try to buy rifle/uppers with m4 feed ramps which the one you posted doesnt.

I've never reviewed this brand, but I own two Stag Arms, and one Smith & Wesson M&P AR-15 rifles. The two Stag Arms I built personally and te M&P was factory built. Great rifles, all are strong, reliable, and durable. Never had a malfunction.

That rifle looks pretty cool... That's the same company as my lower is made by.
I'd get it, they are a relatively new company in the AR world but they are supplying numerous police angencies. So if they are good for law enforcement , they are good enough to me.

1/9 is about the standard for commercial AR's your ammo is limited as 1/9 twist doesnt like heavier loads. I have buddys with 1/9 twist rifles and they are happy with them and shoot regular 55gr all day long. if you were to ever change to anything heavier then a 60gr bullet you will notice a significant change in accuracy. just something to think about.
