Car is SALVAGE title. Car runs, Motor is good, tranny is good, AOD with a C4 shifter on it is the reason I was given for it not shifting correctly. interior is shot, and the top needs work. Exterior is not all bad, but does have bondo near the rear passenger 1/4 panel. Sittin on ponies for which I only have 2 caps. Car does have back fees and I do have the pink slip in hand. Car will need to be towed. You will need your own battery (I have one to use to start up). Price is firm.
if interested post here or PM me. Car is in storage right now, so I will work on gettin pics.

Thanks man, I tune that cat out.
A. I did not get the car for free. B. What damn difference does it make what I got it for. C. I have given away TONS free shit from computers to car parts and even a car. And the rare time I come to sell something, I gotta hear this... SMH.
Also just to add to the info because folks are asking. Last I checked it was 200 in back fees. I will check again and update folks.

He could be right. My neighbor has a tranny shop out here. He did some prelim checking and said that was the problem. Which is even more reason why I am suggesting it be trailered/towed, because of the unknown. [ November 21, 2011, 04:50 PM: Message edited by: N8 ]

I dnt kno this dude, but he is only asking $575 What do ppl expect for that price.
Whats the difference with what this guy is doing and what "not mentioning names" but ppl who buy from "copart, tow/police auctions and sell for more or part out for more on cafords & craigslist
I guess its different because they have established names and business.
I am not talking specificly about anybody on THIS thread

Dont rock the boat max! Like i said not anybody on this thread "he's cool" Id say sumthn about someone in the south first before him.
I kno, i used to buy from auctions fix the problems and come up on top with a lil extra money "basicly for the work i put in"
that being said there is nothing wrong with making a lil extra money, especially when its still selling for a cheap, low price.

Like they say haters will hate, and it is obvious some men here should have been born women. But why hate on a 500.00 dollar car?

This Convertible would make a good donor car for 4 cylinder to V8 conversion for the price, but you guys who part out cars, like me, I don't think is enough there to make a profit, it's very rough, that's why the original owner gave it away.

The car was not "given" away. The gentleman's friend is a member here and can verify this. The price + the price of the tow came to more than I am selling it for. I do not do this for a living. I prefer to help people out rather than turn a fast buck. And when I say help people out, not help those who part these out for a living. But maybe for those who need the parts to get another car on the road or perhaps get this car on the road.
ttt
And just to add, giving a car away is not indicative of a vehicles value. I gave away a rather rough 69 lemans, to a member here. Car was rough, but ran. Sometimes people just like to pay it forward. Its all about perspective. People are so caught up in turning a fast buck or looking to profit/get over on people. That their perspectives become skewed and the result is they come on posts that have nothing but the best intentions intended and spew straight no-sense. Sad. Calm down dude, I said its a good donor car for the price, thought I remember you got it for free, the original owner just wanted it out of there, it's worth what you are selling it for. I just trying to help you out so you can finally pay me.

Oh I am more than calm. It dont bother me either way. And this sell will not help you get anything from me. Because I told you flat out man to man I am not paying you a thin dime over what I have already paid you and what I paid your employee. I am not hurting for money in the least. I am just not paying you "." Like I said in PM, my address nor number has changed if you would like to discuss anything different than what I have stated, feel free. I have nothing against you outside the fact we have a difference of opinion and I would like for you to own up to what you told me.
In all honesty Lee, I say we leave it at that. We wont see eye to eye on it. And it is useless drama the board does not need. You out 100 bucks and I am out 800+. [ November 22, 2011, 08:26 AM: Message edited by: N8 ]

Yes, we have a difference of opinion on it, but I still want my money, and I don't see why I have to contact you again, since you said you don't want to pay, but good luck finding anyone to work on your Mustangs, that knows me, the shops close to you have been warned. Now back to the topic, it's a good donor car for the price for a 4 cylinder to V8 Conversion but the tranny is no good.

I have had NO problem finding a shop to work on my mustang. None. It is in the shop as we speak. Like you got some kind of juice. LMAO (literally). Yo own peeps got at me about you. Which is how I knew some of the stuff you had been saying about the situation (among other things).
But yes back to topic.
Man hold up, this visual of you actually calling around saying "Hey a big buff black dude named Nate may bring his cobra to your shop. Please do not work on it, he owes me money". Just made me laugh like a mofo. I just let my brother read this too. This is by far the funniest shit I have read all day. Thanks for the laughs.
