someone told me today you can get a ticket for having your tow hitch on? i got a ford f250 4x4 on a 6inch lift the tow hitch hangs down a lil bit but i didnt know you can get a ticket for having it on. is this true ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

it is true but most cops dont care. i drive with my tow ball in all the time i never take it out and never been pulled over for it. but yes it is illegal.

It is a sad day in America when you can get a ticket for a tow hitch. What is happening to our freedom? Before you know it, we will be in a Communist state and everything will be illegal. Fuck politicians and the lobbyist who sit down and come up with so many laws that we are not free anymore! We pay these dumb asses a lot of money to shove laws down our throat, pay fines, and they waste that money to! The idiots supporting wall street protest are just trying to cause chaos and stir up shit. Go home, be with your families or go to work and support your family.

i remember a like 4-5 years ago my dad got pulled over for his tow hitch but because it was blocking the licence plate he didnt get a ticket or anything they just told him to either take it off or to turn the hitch upside down, after a while he put it back on and has been driving to napa and back everyday with no problem
