Dont know who here surfs, but going up against "moving mountains" as they call em, is got to be one of the most craziest, extreme sports out there...

Beautiful sport, and I never get tired of watching the big wave riders.
Case of more balls than brains however...

I used to surf 2-3 times a week for about 6 years. The biggest I ever surfed were several legitimate double overhead days at Ocean Beach, which is small compared to what you see in that video. Even so, paddling into 10-12ft waves will definitely test your manhood. Everything is gravy if you make it, but if you don't you'll be getting a serious whooping by mother nature.

Ive hit ocean beach too by sloat and damn that current is strong...but in hawaii, its amazing and an oh shit moment when you see a decent swell in the distance, then as it gets closer, it sucks all the water to calf high and now your standing on reef, ass out, with a now 10 foot wave comin at you.
