Looking into purchasing a new brake setup here in the next few days. It is the 6 piston superlite wilwood setup that i can order with 13 or 14 inch rotors. Now i am wondering if there is really a big difference to be felt between the two brake setups from a street driven perspective. I am guaging the additional pro's and con's of a 14in setup as far as not being able to run a 17in wheel or spare anymore. Or front skinny's
Can anyone weigh in on whether or not the 14in. setup will be that much greater than the 13in setup. Assuming the calipers are equal. For those with 14inch setups would you have rather had the same setup but in a 13in rotor?

The price difference between the two kits is so small that it makes no sense for me not to get the 14in kit. I will just have to find a 18in spare tire in our bolt pattern in the event something ever happens

On the street there will be absolutely zero difference aside from looks. The 13" kit will stop just as quickly as the 14" kit, maybe even quicker due to the lower weight and less rotational mass. If the car was a race car the 14" kit might show some advantage at the end of an endurance race.

With the more 'open' wheels you have, 14 inch will fill them in nicely

I hear what you guys are saying. For the type of driving the car will see the larger rotor won't come into much play since both sets have a 6 piston caliper. Its mostly aesthetics at this point. But the cost difference between the two is only $100 bucks.
Thanks for the input fellas

I have the 14 inch 4 piston aluminum alcon front and 13 inch rears. I LOVE them. I open track my car so I need big brakes. If you are not going to be doing that type of stuff you dont need 14's. although they do look sick, you will never be able to run a 17 inch rim.

I was looking into doing the same T until I thought about changing rotors for up keep and I think it's easier to replace 13" rotors and cheaper then 14" jmo but if you want the 14" do it
