Thanks fellas. I came across this thread after searching for an old thread of mine and I laughed at how cats were non believers back then LOL. Yeah the car ran hard for a stock bottom end 302 with h/c/i and S Trim. The 10.09 in my sig is a different motor. For people PMing me and wondering about the combo it was...

The haters are the main reason I distanced myself & don't post on Cafords these days. When I bought my caddy I got hated on hard, & still do.
Even people doubt what my fox with its basic pos mismatched hci setup would run & I went out last Wednesday & ran better times than even I thought I was gonna run, & it still has much more on the table. Every. motor & combo are different, one might run harder then the next with the exact same parts. You never know....
Good sh#t Matt, keep doing what you're doing. Your car always impresses me because its 100% home built & you shift your own gears instead of taking the easy way out & going with an automatic....

Look at lee's coupe it ran 9.7s with a 306 with a stock cam.you just have to fine tune your car an make tons of pass to find out what works an what does not

Matts car is a P.O.S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol jk.. Funny seeing the people hate.. I met matt before anyone on the board and I had my "blownmach1" and I sold him a C&L mass air for his car.. The one he ran the 10.68 with lol.. And at the time I was thinking...." I'd smoke that car, stock bottom end, fcam, AFRs, with vortech... Hahaha boy was I wrong.. First time I went and watched matt bang gears at the track I was sooo glad I didn't call him out for a race!!! We kept our words very businesslike back then... Sold matt a lot of little parts back then..
U know what's funny is matt and marc use to ask me a lot of questions back then.. I thought I was smart and giving good advise but now I find myself asking him questions.. U know what the answer always is with matt, " IDK bro I think u just gotta take it to the track and dial that bad boy in!!!" hahaha always the same answer..
