Now,I've heard this before but I'm confused..do I just lightly go over the whole car like as if I was washing it with a mit? Or do I gotta get deep with it and really pay attention to what I'm doing? Like pay more attention to other areas? Can I hurt the paint wet sanding in anyway?? Thanks for the help bud

post some pictures of the cars bad areas and I might be able to help, I've restored some pretty horrible paint before.

U don't wanna use 1200,use 2000 or 2500,all u want to do is expose new clearcoat, and buff with rubbing compound at a slow speed, and then u wanna glaze it or seal it,and some wax to top it off helps too,but I would get a clay bar,not mother those sux,the actual brand of clay bar, wash it,then use the clay bar, than wet sand and buff

It's sorta lame but I've used Ajax with water and a mitt to clean minor problems with paint but after wash it again. First do a little spot and see if it works it's like fine sand paper but cheaper.
