what does everyone think about boss 5.0 modular block? would you give up your aluminium block and add about 70lbs to your car to run one? heres an article from 5.0 mag in case you don't know about it.

and this would apply to an n/a setup with the possibility of nitrous or turbo down the road.

Just an idea, could you get the big bore kit from MMR for $1600 and keep the aluminum block?

yea but sleeved big bores run into cooling problems. i need a new shortblock and the boss option is only 1g more
