I plan to upgrade my cell phone this weekend. I have Verizon and looking into the Smartphones. I currently have the enV Touch and hate it. I personally am debating between the Droid X and the HTC Incredible. The only thing is I love the keyboard and neither of these have it. So my question is, what phones do you have and what are the pro's and con's?

There is no debate! iPhone 4 is expected for Verizon the first week of Feb. You'll get used to the touch screen fast.

I was torn between the incredible and x mainly because of the size, I didn't want a large phone. Now I wish I would have gone with the x because of the larger screen and much more accessories available for it like the hdmi dock for tv output.
Droid has external and internal storage, and does much more than an iPhone with out being jail broken.

Part of the reason there is a higher resale value because the only upgrade to an iphone is the next iphone. It really has nothing to do with the performance of the phone. If you need more space or say your battery life is not so good you have to upgrade to a new iphone.

A iphone billis well over80$ my galaxy s droid 42$ net tex and no min my screen my screen is bigger then the iphone + +1000's of free apps and music I had an iphone before my droid and sold that shit + iphones come out with a new phone every 8months to a year

I just got my Droid Incredible yesterday and I love it so far..Phone is pretty Legit..has alot of features. If your heavy into taking pictures, the Incredible is what u want. The Droid X has a feature to plug in a HDMI cable into your tv through your phone to watch what you have downloaded. Also has live TV. not sure if the Incredible has live TV..still learning the phone.

iphone hands down. yes some of the other phones are comparable in performance and have a lot of apps available through the droid apps store but one thing ppl seem to forget with the iphone is that eventually when u do sell ull get a shit load of money back. iphone probably has the best resale value of all the phones on the market today just cuz the demand is there.

Removable battery, for what? There is no need for it, the Iphone 4 holds its charge pretty damn good and I'm a power user! You think you see a lot of Iphone users now, wait until all you Verizon customers get sucked into the Apple world. Its for good reason though, it's a damn good product.

Batteries have a half life. The battery life now may be good but wait a year and half and it won't be what it once was. Instead of simply purchasing another battery, you'll have either pay and arm and a leg to get it replaced or disassemble the whole phone yourself. Compared to opening the battery cover and pulling out the battery. Also, the option for extended battery is never a bad thing.
I am not sure where you are getting your information but iphone TANKS worldwide. They can't even give the phone for free in Japan. The rest of the mobile world outside of the US is not ruled by android or iphone... it is ruled by Symbian. So again the higher resale value is not due to the greatness of the phone but the greatness of Apple marketing.
I agree the Iphone will suck customers in but not because of the handhelds superiority over other smart phones but because it comes from Apple.

WAIT and get the new HTC Thunderbolt or the new iphone on verizon service. I have the incredible and it is an awesome phone, but something better will becoming out soon. Either way, wait just a bit. When the new verizon phones roll out, the older ones prices will drop. Just a thought.

It's funny how this debate always falls the same way ,what's better then the iPhone and every commercial also compares to the iPhone and doesn't compare toanything else but I also know I don't need a task killer or bigger battery or an iPod it's all here on my iPhone oh I have over 150 apps on my iPhone that I didn't have to pay for including the dumb angry birds app and my phone has 2500 songs with only half the memory used oh and for the dumb ass who's says u have to pay a ton to change a battery, wrong ! $60 to do it if you Realy need to and that's installed but who here has the need to replace a battery on there phone lately I'm on my second iPhone and has never had an issue with that. My bro has the droid incredible and my sis has the tmoble droid and both phones went dead before mine and the both had me checking there status's on the crap cuz there phones craped out and oh by the way im New York and guess who had the best reception me over the verizon droid and the T mobile droid and my Phone gave the best directions oh yea and the best pics! So you can debate all you want but iPhone FTMFW ! Oh did I mention I dropped my phone in two feet of water with it on and the flash light app on and pulled it out and it never skipped a beat so get the droid and hate all you want but the number one phone is the iPhone oh Did I mention that my bother who has the droid can't wait till verizon gets the iPhone so he can upgrade to it . I'm done on this debate from my iPhone I'm out. Gonna check my face book page while I listen from my iTunes library and talk to friends on face talk suckas!
