Several of my college friends are flying in this weekend from LA/SD to party here in the Bay.
I typically go out to SF for this and that is exactly what we are doing on Sat night.
However, on Friday I'd like to keep it local and take them out to a popular spot in Oakland. We are looking for something larger scale & higher energy. Even though I live in Oakland, I hardly ever go out in Oakland so I wanted to see what you guys thought.
Thanks

Not sure of too many night clubs in Oakland..I've been to a few lounges in Oakland but not any Night clubs. but theres a nice Lounge In Hayward on B street that gets packed pretty good on the weekends. They clear all the tables out and make it a dance floor. Called "Bijou" No cover charge and the DJ is pretty good. Good spot to have some drinks, chill or dance. http://bijouexperience.com/gallery/ [ December 13, 2010, 05:05 PM: Message edited by: Nastysvt ]

Thanks guys!
It looks like MUA, Air Lounge, ERA, Lukas, and Somar are the spots (and all within 1.3 miles of eachother).
If you see a white guy walk into either of these places on Friday, come say what's up, LOL!

Air Lounge and Maxwells. Maxwells can be a lil hood, but I like it. Actually can be hood too. I may be at both of those this weekend.
Oh and the Fox Den, I actually really like the Fox Den. [ December 13, 2010, 06:38 PM: Message edited by: N8 ]

If your friends are into Rock bar's and total dives, Stork Club is your place.

Looks like an interesting place, but probably not our scene. We are more of the mainstream club/bar types.
