nice man ! i have two of them, unsigned though.... And in the full set for that yr.One box i opened when i was like 10 because i just had to hold and see the card lol the other remains unopened. Its crazy how that card used to be triple or 4x's the price unsigned back in the Seattle days in the becketts and what not. oh well like fire vert says wait for the hall o fame to call then the price should rise back up . yea I know. I use to work for the A's on the visiting side club house for a couple years..Shit was pretty awesome..seen alot of hall of famers walk through, talk to most of them, kinda jus hang out. My job was to unload all their gear when it came on the trucks, grab a players bag, and hang all their gear up in their lockers including some of their personal items. After the series was over, we would get signed balls, broken bats, some non broken, and of course the nice tips. I think the best part was jus getting to know the players and them being familiar with ur face each time they visited. They would come up and jus bullshit with me about whatever, even have me help them play pranks on other players..but anyways thats how I was able to get my griffey card signed.

the trading card market has taken a big hit. just because you see them at those prices doesnt mean they are selling. probaly gonna hold on to it for a long time to be worth some big money. might have to wait till griffey dies

Hmmm, thats a nice chunk of change, I would sell it.
BTW, does anybody know how much a mint condition 86 Topps Jerry Rice rookie card is worth? I have one & wouldn't mind selling if its worth it...

Sell it and run. PSA 10 Gem Mints go for around $200. It drops off dramatically for anything lower. The only modern era card I have seen recently that fetched $400 is a PSA 7 Nolan Ryan Rookie go for around $450 this past summer. That guy is basically a god in modern era baseball.

Autographs are like art. It's not worth a premium until the guy is dead because until then he's still singing or producing art work.
