I got into an accident a couple weeks back and the damage on my car looks bad but I think it's fixable. What got damage was the hood, radiator support frame, headlights but no engine damage. With that said, would it better off getting a shell and transplant from my car into an lx or coupe which i originally was looking for at the time I was looking for a foxbody. Or would it be better off fixing the damage?

Just find someone who can cut off and weld on a new radiator support, and just bolt new parts on. There are more than a few people on cafords who have the skills to do this.

IT'S NOT JUST A EASY FIX TO REPLACE THE RAD SUPPORT THERE MORE TO IT LIKE MAKING SURE THE RAME RAILS ARE STRAIGHT I WOULD FIND A ROLLER AN SWAP THE ENGINE AN TRANS THEN PART OUT THE WREACKED ONE TO RECOUPE SOME OF YOUR LOSS'S BACK

Dont be scaring the guy into not fixing it. lol That damage is not that bad and wont cost that much. If you pull the front bumper, fenders and the other misc stuff attached to the radiator support, you can have a shop drill out the welds on the radiator support and weld in a new one.

With the hit that high on the car, I doubt there is any frame damage. It would be easier and cheaper in the long run to just fix what you have instead of buying another car and swapping everything over . If you need a rad support and all the other parts,pm me I have them all!

Shits not that bad, find someone on the board to help out. Post it in the ford sale section or tech section.

It's not worth buying a whole other car and swapping everything.
