The Cobra I just bought came with a temp and oil gauge that are both mechanical. I am concerned about having a oil line ran in to the car. Where do both gauges hook up? Any input on the Mechanical VS Electrical gauges?????

My Cobra had all mechanical gauges, they tend to be more accurate. I had the steel braided line, it was a pain in the ass to work with but isn't going to leak.

Sounds good, so when are we going to put them in?

im running a mechanical as well and its tapped near where the factory sending unit is by the oil filter. also use a steel braided line for peace of mind rather than nylon that usually comes w/ the kit.

for my oil, water, and fuel i have electric full sweep gauges. A little more money, but if for some reason it leaks its outside the car at the sensor not on my feet.

I have a mechanical oil pressure gauge that has a copper line. I ran it but isn't hooked up yet. Should I remove it and run steel braided instead? It was a bitch to run but I don't want to pinch the line and leak.
