Seems like a decent deal for a Cobra with a salvage title. It looks like it was salvaged because it was stolen, not wrecked. (Nevermind, just noticed the damage to the quarters.)
Then again, I don't know what clean '96 Cobras go for anyway, so what do I know?

The guy just called me. He said he owns a body shop and put like a 3K paint job on it. He said the car is in like new condition.

what shop did he say he owned? I live 10 mins from TO and I don't think I've ever seen that car.

not worth it...when i was looking for a 96-98 cobra, i came across a lot of clean titled ones for that price. reagrdless of paint, it still has a salvaged title. Offer $3k ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

On topic: The car looks clean but I'd still we wary of the damage under the car from being dumped with no wheels, picked up by a tow truck, dumped off at a yard, moved around with a forklift...... you get my point.

I also noticed it doesn't have plates, has he done all the inspections on it and register it?
I'll message him through eBay and see if he's honest about the body damage the car had when he got it or if he tries to say it wasn't hurt at all.

He called and was pretty honest about it. I did not say thay I had already seen pics of the damage though.
