Well last week I spent almost 2200 on my car and still looking for shyt and just went in partners on a $60,000 boat and I can't stop what is it with me ugh it's like I need retail therapy or somthing need help! An intervention or somthing I think I'm just going to give all my money to the wife to hold she's real good with money and will question every purchase I try to make and I wonder why I'm always broke

we have all gone through it and eventually you'll realize its best to minimize the spending on our toys and save/invest for the future.
it does also helps to have a good paying job that gives yearly raises and bonss and keep the spending at the same rate then use the excess to go towards investing. ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)

I know the feeling. If there is a good deals on computer hardware or gagets I have to buy it. It's nothing like your scale but the same "gotta have it" attitude.

I'm saving every month so I will have 50k in 8yrs for down payment for a 3rd house and by then my first house will be paid off so that will be income and I put money away for iras and retirement but damn my toys are always killing me I can't just be happy withe the bare min I want the best even though I have to search for the deals and scrape by till the next payday it's just crazy how I stop buying for a few weeks then the money starts to burn a hole in my pocket

doesnt sound like u have a problem. you're complaining about spending too much and you're already in 2 homes? LOL ppl complain about not having money to spend or having a place they call their own.

It's not about the money I put away I can't touch that money it's just when I want to have money in my pocket so I don't have to worry about gas money or what ever unexpected pops up that I will have money for those things instead of buying a new part I don't realy need I just want

I hear that. I saved ~6k in 6 months. About to finally move into my first house. I cant wait to pickup a boat though!

^ I don't have extra cash in my pocket right now I'm broke as hell cuz of all the purchases when I get paid I pay bills then put a little in these accounts then what I have left over I blow on toys instead of saving it so I will have money till the next pay day in no way am I balling I have a tennate paying my morgage at the first house they even pay the extra $100 towards the princable so we can pay it off early I also pay a little extra a month like $200 a month on the house I live in to pay it off early but the payments are cheap so we can afford to do that. But with the extra spending cash I have that's for liked little things like going out or taking little trips I spend all up on toys then I'm broke saying ah next time
