and all the dumb post in it? How can someone ask for help and not offer enough information so someone can actually help them out.
"my car wont start need help"
"my cable dont work need help asap"
"my car is making this noise what is it"
"do you think my tranny is fucked up"
"is it ok if I run open headers on my daily driver"
That section need someone to moderate or erase all stupid questions.How can you expect people to guess the year / make / model from "my shit wont start HELP"

+1 When I post I try and put all the info I know, but I'm still learning and am not too car savvy and don't know what everything is called and what not. I'm sure people don't do it on purpose or they might not know what to list. I.E If I'm asking a question about my breaks then I don't really need to list all my mods because they don't all pertain to my breaks

That's the problem right there. People just don't know how to write a complete and coherent question.

There's a carb question I responded to there, and when I asked "How high is 'hecka high'" when refering to the idle and "do you have a vacuum gauge?" the answer is "sorry, don't have a tach or vacuum gauge." Being car savvy has nothing to do with it. I admit i dont know everything there is to know about car repair but i do know how to ask a question. The times i have asked questions about things i dont know i give as much info as i can. I include model make and year of my car and the problem im having with it. i just dont write "my shit is making noise, help" and expect people to hear what im hearing when they're on the other side of a computer and cant hear shit.
