I got pulled over last Saturday for speeding (first ticket in 3 years) and I watched the chp check for my front plate. Obviously I didn't have it on but he didn't write it on my ticket. For private reasons my car is registered in my moms name. Well now I find out the chp wrote a separate fix it ticket and mailed to my moms. Am I able to take care of this so she doesn't have to be bothered? And if so I have my plate on are there any local leo's that I could bother to sign off? Thanks - Joe.

get the ticket signed and no problemo for your mom....You could go to any pd and have them come outside and take a look at it, i would go in the city i was cited to just to make sure they do it...

Make sure you park it in a position where all they have to do is walk out.....look at the front plates....and sing your ticket. Even if they look at it from like 20-30yards away.
Some LEO's will do just that, and others will want to see what else they can get you for while you are still there. Good Luck. I always go to Redwood city PD, by the Malibu Grand Prix. They really don't care, as long as you fix what you were written up for.
