i've seen a similar LX around the Brentwood area. i've also seen the same car at Dan's house getting worked on. it was getting a motor rebuild if i remember correctly.

I heard it was in the brentwood area a while ago too. Car ran super clean and strong zero leaks of any kind and passed smog so easy....can't imagine it needing to be rebuilt but it did have about 173,000 miles on it so some would say borrowed time? Either way I'm still wanting it.

I told you a month ago it is in my driveway needing an engine with the same fucked up paint job on it...........

hood is the worst of the paint.

balancer fell of motor and took out timing gear which took out entire motor, dont know the details.
The paint is shot, period.
It is not mine it is a customers and I am fixing it for him but I will be happy to put you in contact with him, maybe save him some time and money. He did already pay for a used motor with arp head bolts and new timing gear.

WOW....I kinda feel bad for the owner. The ballancer was only 2 years old though I'd have never thought it would just fall off. It was torqued down properly. If the owner is in brentwood he isn't who I sold it too but still thats kinda fucked up.

I doubt you would want the car now. The paint is fuckin hammered. The guy that owns it bought it off the guy that bought it off of you.
I suggest you buy streetfighters black lx as a roller and put a tilt column in it.
He only wants 3K and that is the condition of black paint I am SURE you are looking for.
besides I think this kid wants like 5 racks for your old car cuz i think he paid 7 racks for it lol crazy.

Damn he got ripped off. My car in its best shape was never worth 7k.
I saw streetfighters lx,...very nice! But I wouldn't be able to put a motor in it for a long time. Looking for more of a daily driver project like my 89 was. I already have a more involved project.
