i think i saw your buddy, there were a bunch of people pulling their trailers up to the tents but only a couple of people got their cars out. my buddy and i spent the last 20 minutes there helping a couple of car owners cover their cars. very sad.

That sucks big time, you keep ur car covered and safe for years and one storm will take it right out, thats horrible, i feel bad for the owners of the cars, I hate seeing a door ding or a scratch, let alone a pole smashing out the hood, broken windows, etc.

sad to see but like said before you cover your car in your garage and sometimes yell at whoever gets too damn close to it to prevent a ding or scratch & in the last expected place your car gets destroyed
but I wonder if the auction will take the charge and if how much $ in losses
anyways

As far as I know, when you sign the paperwork and hand over the keys to a auction or transporter they are fully responsible. Unfortunately some companies have it in there small print of the contract "not responsible for acts of god". I'm not kidding either this might cover their ass and the owners ass'ed out. Yeah my company hauled out about 20 damaged cars. My buddy said there was grown men crying. A very sad day.
