my taxes we just filed, they pupt my sons gender as female, and for head of houslehold questionaire he mistakenly marked no to the question"do you provide more than half of support for the dependent" my question is will my e-file go through, will there be an issue? he said i may get a letter and hell fix it????? any input im worried big time

File an amended (that is a corrected) return.
Whoever did the original return should make the corrections and see if there is any change to your taxes. Because it was their mistake, they should file the amended return at no cost to you.
From what I've experienced, any errors will go in favor of the IRS. So if you claimed your son as a dependent but said you did not provide more than half of his support, I expect they will disallow you claiming him as a dependent. You'll lose the tax deduction and you may have to pay a fine for an incorrect filing. File an amended return and the new, corrected return will supersede the old one. Do verify this info with the tax preparer.
