I think Obama could say anything during his speach and at every pause people would clap. Small and big companys getting a tax break for every employee they give a raise or hire....the best was cutting gov spending. Lmfao ..... I'll believe it when I see it.

Stunned, stunned, I watched a sitting president openly criticize the Supreme Court, and encourage the Legislature to pass another law like the one just declared un-constitutional. I heard today on the radio that only 8% of Obamas advisors and cabinet have any experience outside of Government or Academia. Reagan had 56%, Clinton 48% and Bush 50%, Pretty much explains alot.

Damn people shure are quick to point the finger at Obama. Look at the bigger picture Bush fucked this country up at least this man is trying to fix something . I guess some people are holding their hands over their ears and talking at the same time. The man stood there and challenged all government to come up with a better answer instead of pointing the finger. He did say he was going to continue tax cuts for the middle and lower class but not for the rich.How can you be mad at that?

So...after the previous president took 8 years to destroy the country , you are criticizing the man cleaning up his mess in year one...wouldn't criticism be more appropriate at the 4 year mark...Regardless with the way the country was once he took over as President there was no way he would be able to change anything immediately. All of you doubters criticize and blame him without ever realizing he has only been attempting to clean up the mess left by the president before him...and he was elected because his approach and views were different than those before him and those running against him...The last president failed the country so bad that people demanded change and believed he would bring it. Those who criticize the president today are the same who did the day he was elected. Most still believe he will bring change...I do...those that don't believe never did...

He asked the Government to come up with a better way to do healthcare which isn't the countries number 1 problem right now, the economy is and hes ignoring it to push Ted Kennedy's agenda because he probably told Ted Kennedy "if you get me elected i'll get you your healthcare"
I think now he realizes no one wants healthcare we want a good economy first. We need to get rid of Polanski here in CA though, shes not doing shit for this state.

LOL okay Dana, Mr. Government Job. No shit healthcare isn't the #1 priority to you because you get healthcare through your GOVERNMENT job. The "economy" is the #1 problem? What about the "economy" is the problem?
Do we have programs within the government that are crippling us because they are spending more than they take in? Like Medicare, Welfare...or your 3% @ 55 program? Nowhere else in the private industry does such a program still exist.
This isn't a personal attack at your or your profession. This is just getting people to think outside their own little world.
Do I agree with everything Obama says? No. Do I think we are spending too much money? Yes. Do I have all the answers? Hell no. Just think beyond yourself and what FOX news may say.

What could anyone do today that will fix the economy in the near future (less than a year) beyond what is being done already?...Health care on the other hand can be fixed today...The ignorance people have about the state of health care today is the driving force of why those same people believe it is not important...Allow this president the ability to create change and then judge him...People are determined to watch this president fail, but don't understand if he fail we all fail...Who cares who is right or wrong about change if at the end of the day we all fail!...We should all support the President and hope that he can lead us through tough times instead of criticizing everything he does hoping he fails...If you feel like this president did not do a good job in 3 more years help elect a different one, until then give him the opportunity to do and be something you think he wont!
