Heading up to Northstar at the moment, then heading to Sierra tomorrow and Alpine Meadows on Wednesday. I kind wanted to be at Kirkwood but when you depend on other vehicles it's kind of hard, oh well. I should be getting a new Tacoma to take care of the problem soon. Either way it will be a blast.
Anybody else going up and where?

Hella people gonna be there this weekend. I'll be at Apline tomorrow. The news showed crazy traffic last nite up there...but the powder is gonna be well worth it. Can't wait for the FRESHIES....thinkin of getting custom plates for the Bronco: FRESHYZ ...I love the fresh powder.

yeah conditions will definitely be sick but im sure the place will be packed to the point of getting annoying.
im going in a few weeks using my timeshare and hoping we'll have a few more big storms before then.

Today had some awesome powder. Traffic getting there was fine. Just a little clogged at the entrance. Passed on through to paid parking $30 well spent (splitted between 5, no biggie). Place was a little packed. But if you hit lookout mountain and run that side your good, most people don't know or don't head way. We did stay half of the day on Backside and that was a little busy. But we have some double whammy passes with vertical pass cuts, so the waiit there was short. Not all people. In our group had passes so we had to sit back and join the regular lines at times. Overall, fun times and will be hitting Sierra tomorrow.
If you go to Northstar or Sierra on a Sun-Fri. Shell gas stations are offering buy one get one free deal. All you need to do is fill up a tank, save reciept, ask for voucher to gas attendant, bring both items to resort and pay for one full price lift and get a second one free!

i was up there this wed at northstar. it was waist deep powder n lots of it. at some points the snow was falling so hard you couldnt see 20ft in front of ur face. ill be up at sierra this sunday.

Im def going as much as I can this year, Havent been able to the past 7ish years with an injury. Tried about 4 years ago and that just wasnt happening.

Went about a week and a half ago and there so much powder I couldent believe it and more was being made when I was there even got to do swing the sequoia in the other end of a empty parking lot fun cuz I was going about 2mph, but my bestfriend is up there right now having a blast he's leaving Sunday night

cant snow board this year cuz of a old injury. i racked my shoulder so bad a couple years ago snow boarding that i just finally had surgery on it new years eve. i would love to go again maybe next year but is it worth it to maybe have it done again!
have fun for me though!!!
