Black droptop fox at the intersection of 84 and willow. I got there just after it happen but before any emergency units were on scene. Did not look pretty at all. Fox front end wasn't even recognizable as a fox. Hope everyone is ok.

MENLO PARK, Calif. -- A 6-year-girl and her mother remain in the hospital with life-threatening injuries Friday morning after a street racer hit their car and fled the scene Thursday afternoon in Menlo Park, police said.
Units responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of Willow Road and Bayfront Expressway just before 2 p.m. Thursday, according to Menlo Park police.
A preliminary investigation indicated that two cars were street racing when one of them crashed into a third vehicle carrying the girl and her mother, police said.
The driver involved in the crash then got out and climbed into the other vehicle, according to police. The drivers fled the scene but left the wrecked car.
"We did get a license plate from there," Menlo Park police Sgt. Matthew Ortega said. "We're working on the investigation with the registered owner."
Ortega said detectives followed leads throughout the night.
He said there haven't been problems with street racing in the area where the crash happened, but it's a long, straight road that would appeal to street racers.
Anyone who might have witnessed the collision is encouraged to contact the Menlo Park Police Department at (650) 330-6300.

MENLO PARK — Police have identified a person of interest in a hit-and-run accident Thursday that killed a 6-year-old girl and injured her mother.
Investigators are looking for Shannon Fox, 24, of East Palo Alto, and want him to contact them regarding the crash, which occurred when a car involved in a street race ran a red light, said Menlo Park police Sgt. Matt Ortega. Fox has not been named a suspect, Ortega said.
On Friday, police learned that the girl whose parents' car was struck in the collision had died as a result of her injuries. Her father and her mother, both of Menlo Park, were also in the car, and the mother was in stable condition Friday with serious head trauma and broken bones, Ortega said.
The crash occurred at about 2 p.m. Thursday at Bayfront Expressway and Willow Road. As a Ford Mustang and a white compact car sped through the intersection southbound on Bayfront, the Mustang clipped a blue Toyota, spinning it around, according to witness accounts. The Mustang then hit the white car, and both spun out on opposite sides of the Bayfront median.
"They were racing," Kim Arrowood, a Sun Microsystems employee who saw the crash, said Thursday. "They had to have been going 70 mph."
The Mustang was wrecked, but it didn't stop the driver from getting away, Arrowood said. She said the Mustang's driver ran over to the white car, yelled "Let's go!" to that driver and hopped in. The two then turned around and drove

Ortega said video from the Sun campus confirmed that the two vehicles were involved in a street race. Police have both vehicles that were involved in the race in their possession, Ortega said. Fox is the owner of one of the cars, he said.
Police are asking anyone who knows Fox's whereabouts to contact them at 650-330-6300. Anyone who witnessed the crash is also asked to contact police.

Anybody know if that owner of the stang is a member here? That sucks for the family and little girl that never got to live her life. It's not worth racing on the streets people.
