What size turbo? hydro or solid roller? Air to air or air to water cool? I don't think you need that many cubes? with that turbo and cubes you will make a shit of power and will be a real tire destroyer on the street. My guess is 750rwhp

I plan on putting that much down with a 302 based engine that will spin to about 6200 rpm. Big enough turbo you could make 1000+ real easy. Look at the bullseye 380. Proven to make 1100 at the rear wheels and is a T4 based turbo. Step up to a T6 based turbo and make 1500+ if you wanted to.

1k hp on 10psi will be damn nice. I plan on making something like that real soon or more but with more boost and less cubes but then again I got two turbos air to water and the list goes on forever. If you haven't bought your heads yet I would love to see a 427 with dart pro 1 225cnc on a boosted setup. Anyways keep us updated

T4 base to small for ur cubic inches.. not effiecent for the turbo, alot of heatsoak i would step up to a t6 flange.

Hey Guys,

I haven't purchased the heads yet, thats not coming until I get the internals stuffed in this block.

I figured with the Dart block, might as well stuff as many cubes as I can.

The goal of the car is to have a BULLETPROOF motor with mild boost for the street and track.

I was just hoping for ~700rwhp.

Thanks for the bit of info. Ill look into that when I cross that bridge later this year [Smile]

I know I could build a 600rwhp motor for a lot cheaper but I do NOT want to EVER worry about the block splitting in half ect.

And yes I know I will spend a good chunk of change, but you gotta pay to play. Plus how many 400+ cube turbo mustangs are there running around these days.

Mike

you are right you have to pay to play. Hope you don't care about smog [Wink] . I would love to own another fox but, I won't until smog isn't there on them anymore. The setup sounds like it will be bad ass.

Ya, I know about the smog thing. I have my ways, and even if that falls through, I'll put the work in to swap a motor in every 2 years :/ Like i said...gotta pay to play. Plus this windsor stroker would fit nicely into an old school if I ever go that route [Smile]

Hehe it will be...this isnt a quick project at all. Im building the motor probably over the next 6-12 months, while also getting the cage put it, torque boxes done, all the chasis bracing

This really is going to be a street car as I'm going to put a panhard bar and torque arm on, tubular K-member, coil overs ect....

oh ya, and last thing - BIG ASS brakes [Smile]

The ultimate goal over the course of the next year or two is to MAYBE get into a magazine, but its gonna take a LOT of TLC and getting things done right...

Plus shitloads of money...

Need to put some real boost and a real (T6) turbo.

That is a ton of motor and it will be in heaven with boost.

If you don't make 750RWHP once tuned and with the appropriate turbo, then you are an idiot.

There are blow thru 306s making 1000RWHP and 1077RWTRQ

Lol thanks for the vote of confidence [Wink] I'm not trying to set records with it, its just going to have a mild hydraulic cam (well mild for this size stroker) and mild boost.
