this is fucking bullshit. i got my car back or should i say took it back. and my paint is fucked up all because this asshole that buffed my car. i paid him he only did 3/4 of the job left burn marks on the paint and cracked the paint on the fender. i called him he answered only once after he knew my number he never picked up. only his wife picks up the phone now ![[Mad]](mad.gif) . the guy knows he fucked up... and on top of that my car was running hot ever since i got it. i thought my car was low on fluid so i put some in. i whent to work and i heard water leaking i looked under the car and i see a puddle of water. so know im like fuck now what.... i fixed the leak last night it was the freeze plug on the head. i pour water and see another leak in the back of the engine . now i have to pull the engine.... i am sure these fuckers took my car out for a ride. i gave my car with a 1/4 takn of gas when i got it back it would not turn on because it was empty. also im missing header bolts and i have this nast header leak ........... long story short im pissed and i dont get to do what i wanted with the car... sorry for the rant guys i had vent.

wow....that sucks man. hopefully the guy that did the work is from a shop so you can go after him. di d u record the miles before and after? perhaps you can take his ass to small claims for ruining your car.

Who worked on your car? How did you find this person? Any signed agreement?
Sucks, i know.. I was being lazy last year and had a really small dent on my HOnda Civic.. I ended up being lazy and called up a few guys off Craigslist..
Long story short, these fucks gave me good hopes over the phone, came over and *pretended* to sound like they knew what they were doing..
They took out the dents PERFECT... I paid them 50% of the money for that, now they needed extra cash for the paint, i was an idiot, i paid them the last 50% to match the paint..
They went and bought some cheap look-alike paint and SPRAY painted the car and took off..
I called them up, they picked up and said "oh bro, it will take a week for it to blend in.. if it doesnt blend in, call us back"..
Week went by, i call them back and get a "number has been disconnected"..
Oh well, karma is a bitch, found out where they live, last i heard, they were serving time (5+ years) in prison for FRAUD.

i was a idiot trusting people. i paid the guy up front because he said he will have it done. this guy hops from shop to shop doing jobs. ever since he fucked up my car he has not been back to the shop. and everyone there apologized and said i didnt know he would do something like this... But this this does work at people houses so i will have somone call him to meet up to detail a car once her gets there.... well lets say he better give me my money back and more ..... not only that my clutch grabs higher than before...

How many coats of clear were spray on it bro??? Did he wet sand it also, or simply buffed/polished it? Sucks now wtf? Is it REAL bad??

it was 3 coats of clear. it was wet sanded... it was not the painters fault it was the other fuckers fault. the car was done ready to go

oh man that sucks. i was looking forward to seeing the final product. life is always full of these little lessons sadly. never pay up front and always have a contract.

hopefully im able to find him tomorrow. i going shop hoping see if i can find him..... does anyone know how much a short block 302/306 might run me for? or just rebuild the one i got? this sucks everything it hitting at one time. paint, engine, clutch...

When it comes to paint and body work you REALLY need to be careful where you go and you need to shop around for a shop with a good trust worthy reputaion. When ever I need that type of work done I send stuff all the way to Redding, just because I found a place up there that I absolutely trust so I'll stick with them no matter the distance.
