a good friend of mine was having problems with her automatic withdrawal for payment straight from her account so she paid it thru the mail and she gets a letter saying she didnt pay enough and they where gonna cancel it so she calls in and they say oh no its ok dont worry about it , well she gets rearended pretty hard on the freeway and they say her policy lapsed and they wont do anything for her , and it could have only been lapsed for a couple days , anyways wat im getting at is is this some bullshit thing where u gotta fight with them tooth and nail to make them pay for it cause the other guy doesnt have insurance either or is she f**ked and has to sue the guy?

i'd fight for it, just have to find out when she sent the payment because people do have problems with automatic payments sometimes. I've set up a side account that i use for my automatic payments cause the insurance fuckers give you a break if you do it automatically. And so do a lot of other things, but if you do any other spending in the same account its easy to lose track when the payments come out. She'll probably have to sue the idiot with no insurance too

Did she get the name of the person that said it was ok after she made her payment? Even if the payment was late, she should still be covered, so tell her to keep fighting, I will talk to my lady (she's a broker) and find out for sure...

COVER YOUR ASS! COVER YOUR ASS! COVER YOUR ASS!!! By all means everyone. EVERY single time you talk to ANYONE on the phone about ANYTHING from bank accounts to lawyers to this, write down the TIME, DAY, and the person's NAME and there ID number just like a lawyer would do. That way your ASS IS COVERED and none of this he said she said stuff and "Sir do have proof" will be used against you. I'm sick of this stuff because it happened to many times to me too. Make these insurance agencies and others agencies pay what you have paid for. ![[Mad]](mad.gif)
