Hey just wanted to show you guys of mine and mikes project. It's a striped down lx converted to carburated and 5spd. It's going to be a full out race car. We still need alot of parts and both of us are moving out so we are running low on the money so donations are welcome. We still need Fuel tank, Distrubutor, pedals(maybe), Nuts for the pedals and rear end (took them off a long time ago to use on other car), stock e7 heads and power stering pump brakit and pump. If you would like to donate any of these parts to this project that would be great and very appriciated or if you would like to trade for any efi parts of turbo coupe parts maybe we can work out trades. Thanks for looking

Looks good!

I assume the moldings are remaining black?

Side mirrors and door handles will be black too I hope?

if u dont mind saying...how much u paying for the paint? any reason why u didnt remove the quarter windows, handles, mirrors, bumpers, spoilers, trim, etc?
my experience w/ new paint is that it usually comes out better when u remove lots of the body parts for better coverage and to prevent bridging.
looks good though..

very true, but this car is going to be strictly a track car. we don't feel the need to make it perfect but it'll definitely be track worthy now with the new paint.

edit: and we're going for the "budget-car" idea..
