Why's that? It wouldn't be all that hard to swap a 6.6L Duramax Diesel in place of an LS6. Mating an Allison 1000 tranny may be a bitch though due to space constraints. What's wrong with diesel power? Fuel is cheaper. It's far cheaper to mod a diesel versus a gas engine. You can make far more power and torque then gasoline powered engines. I fail to see the downside.
