Topic: need estimate on rwhp on fox!!!

ok i have a 88fox gt 347 stroker with trick flow twisted wedge heads, trick flow stage 2 cam, trick flow upper and lower, bbk shorty headers with o/r x pipe, also have fuel rails and msd dist, 1.7 rockers oh and 30lb injectors and throthle and all that intake stuff! i was just wondering if anyone can let me know what might be my hp to the wheels!!!! thanks lmk ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)

What kind of dyno? Manual tranny? I will say 340/350 if it is'nt a mustang dyno.

well i have not tried it on any dyno what so ever. im just trying to find out what i should expect from my set up! the only thing i know is that i have taken out pullied 03cobras or i have lost to them by 1 car or less!!! any help! lmk thanks

Well, if you've taken down pullied Cobras, then you've gotta be between 425 and 525...because that's the range of pullied Cobras...depending on what other mods they may have in conjunction with a simple pulley swap. A 2.8 pulley, tune, CAI, exhaust is about 425-450rwhp.

Nah, you gotta figure foxbodies weigh ALOT less than 03-04 Cobras which means it would not take equal equal HP or more than a 03-04 Cobrqa to beat it. Since he said he loses by one car or so. I would think he has 300rwhp or so

well i know some have the 2.9 or is the the 2.8 not sure but they have been tuned adn also have a bit more bolt on parts like intake and exhaust!!! my engine was done by johnb!

I was wonderin' how much they weigh. They'd be "ALOT" less if a 300-350 rwhp car can beat a 425-450rwhp car, though. Are they THAT light?...we'd be talkin' close to 3000 lbs if my calculations are even remotely correct. That'd be sweet if our Cobras weighed in at 3k ![[Whoo Whooooo!]](graemlins/woowoo.gif)

If so, that combo is good for a honest 350-355 rwhp...untuned.

dont know my tranny is messeed up. sunday i raced this other 03 and the tranny cyncros messed up hella grinding in 3rd and 4th!!! but IM WILLING TO GIVE A STREET RUN LIKE THAT, THATS IF YOUR DOWN!!!! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
