As some of you know I recently bought a new house.

She's a 5 bedroom 3 bath 3 car garage sitting on a bit less than 1/2 acre fully landscaped front and rear.

It's about 3 years old so everything is fairly new but I wanted to have something "different"(it's track home).

I bought it with intentions of remodeling it to my liking about a month and a half ago.

Well I started on the remodeling. Put in wood flooring through out, the carpet it had was std type and a bit filthy from the previous owner having an indoor toy dog. Delay 1 Trim pieces wont be here for 2 weeks

Now it's new tile since it had plain jane off white tile. I craved some shapes etc. Waited a week for it.

Next is new applainces since the S/S ones it has are about 3 years old and were used by the previous owner. Homie don't play the cook my tortillas on a used stove. Still waiting for my order 3 weeks later since it's all a matching set. Delay 2

Then finally putting in quality carpet in 3 of the bedrooms. Only took me 3 weeks to pick it out! Now it's going to take a week to be delivered. Good thing it should only take about an hr to lay all 70 yards of it. Delay 3

I've already repainted most of the interior. One of the rooms was pink [Eek!] . I guess if Don(hidnnos) was living here he'd be at home in that room.

I could have never imagined owning a home you actually want to live in could be so involved.

I'm exhausted right now. I've lost about 2-5 lbs from dealing with this stuff.

Oh and to top it off I still need to pack the old house and take with me what I plan on keeping. I've got 10 years of my life stored in this house.

I'm just frustraded that I took a week off from work to possibly be moved in this week and it's been nothing but delay after delay.

I was hopping to have everything done today and spend the weekend shopping for furniture.

I'm starting to feel like a bit off more than I could chew. I guess you can't rush these things.

Thanks! I'm loving every moment of it.

A bit stressfull at times because you have to think on your toes etc. But slowly learning that some of your biggest enemies are your co workers.

In order to survive just gotta have an outside work life.
