I didn't crash, but i lost it twice.. first time was kinda fun.. second time was too close to a wall for my liking. Car is useless, i would have to baby first and second out at every stop sign or the car would spin.. So, i need tires. any hook ups? I was thinking about just some cheap kumhos... What do u guys think? [ December 12, 2006, 09:02 PM: Message edited by: Jmir018 ]

I put kumhos on my wifes car and it feels the same in water than it does on dry ground. Nice sturdy ride. Quiet and responsive. We'll see how long they last though. No tire is perfect.
This isn't on a muscle car though.

Damnit Jersey, get some fucking tires on that car. You could hurt more than just yourself and all because you don't want to spend a couple hundred dollars for NEW tires.......

thanks you very much for the offer lee.. you are the man. However, i don't feel right taking you up on it, because i'll be changin rims in a bit. Mabye you can make some $$ out of those. Thanks again.
Don, i want tires, it's not that i'm being cheap.... i just not doing so great financially right now. I had not had the cash to buy them. i've had new 18inch rims sitting in my garage for a while, but i'm ordering new tires for them tomorrow! all those birthday gifts i recieved will be put to good use! So far the best deal i seem to find is online. so.. if i curently have 245s 45 17, 245 40 18 would be the equivalent correct? and if i get 275s for the rear, the size would have to be 275 35? i'm not sure if the sidewall changes or not. Thanks. I wanna stay with stock diameter. Thanks.

Jersey, I have ran 285/35/18 on the rear of a foxboday and a SN95 with no problems, also for the front I have put 265/35/18 and 245/45/18 with no problems, if you want you can try my 18s to see how it looks and fits, also I have a friend in Hayward that will mount those tires I have here for you for FREE, just to keep you safe.

I went through the same shit this morning, I didn't spin out or anything but I do have super bald A032 Yokohamas that wouldn't hook anywhere for siht. Thank god I only work a 5 miles away...I thought twice about getting on the freeway and decided to take side streets..I could only imagine how bad it would be if I was geared in the rear and installed my 3.73's...Irony of this story is I work at a tire place. Just started working there and don't have shit for money to buy tires...I'll probably be investing sooner then planned to buy some new tires, for safety of my own and the others around..

I have to baby 1st and 2nd gear all the time I get sideways in almost every turn not on purpose or from going fast either. My tires are 50% worn down probably.
A couple of days ago i was driving the jeep to work and i came up to the last turn on my road which is a complete 90 degree turn and i slow dwon for this turn cause its sharp but it was covered in pine needles so i drifted my Jeep around the turn and when i got all the way around i got out of the slide. It was fun. Glad i am the only one on the road at 715am on saturdays.
