Where should i put my electronic exhaust cut out? Before or after the cats? Are they worth it? Do they make it that much louder?

I had manual cutouts on my Jeep, and my friend had cutouts on his mustang. It sure made a difference, depending on what set of mufflers you ran though. I've heard the electronic cutouts leak alot. I ran mine after the cat just to avoid breaking the law, but that's entirely up to you. IMO, it's not really worth it, because most of the time I just drove around with it uncapped - I should have just bought a set of loud mufflers instead of gettin a cutout.

After the cats so you don't start getting a check engine light. I noticed a difference between capped and uncapped, but I did have a shitty ass flowmaster. cut outs are good so you can have loud as hell, then cap it up for when you need to quiet things down.
