Topic: Anyone know where I can rent a car trailer besides UHAUL?

I will be going down to so cal this weekend or next to pickup a 57 chevy bel air that my pops and I will working on as our next project. I went over to UHAUL and they have one that but can't reserve it. I wanted some other options if the trailer is not there on the weekend.

FUCK UHAUL. At least they told you they wouldn't reserve you one. They "reserved" me one once and I went to pick it up and they had none.
Anyway there is a place in Fremont call United Rentals. There are two in Fremont, two in San Jose, one in San Leandro, one in Sastro Valley, one in Oakland and one in Dublin.
Maybe Hertz has them. One in Untion City, one in San Jose and one in Oakland.

united rentals does them. Locations everywhere and about $80 a day.

Penske rents them as well.

I will def check out United Rentals. UHAUL is about 50 bucks a day but if United Rentals has it, I'll pick it up from there. UHAUL is often times a bitch... I was on the phone with them once (10 mins away) and told them to reserve their last truck, and when I got there....they GAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE!
I would def just check out Penske and see what they have, and I already tried Hurst and they don't have any.
I would rent it from a fellow memember if I was not traveling so far. I don't trust the drivers in So Cal and down highway 5....I would hate to risk damaging another member's trailer.

Another time uhaul hooked up a regular trailer to my in-laws pickup truck. Two miles down the road it came off the tow ball and the only thing holding it on was the chains. Being freaked out my brother-in-law slammed on the brakes and the trailer crashed into the back of his truck! I could go on and on with uhaul stories. I only go to United Rentals now. Price is not an issue when you want something done right or when you NEED something rented. Good luck ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)
