I would like someone to install new cams only in my 2v. I want to do it myself but im somewhat hesitant about the whole timing thing

You're gonna want to install upgraded valvesprings as well if these are aftermarket billet camshafts like the Comp XE's or Crowers. Otherwise you'll hit valvefloat at higher RPM's....sometimes as low as 5500rpm. I remember reading a 5.0 or MM&FF article where they installed cams without valvesprings. Motor made more power till about 5500 where it then made significantly less power than stock due to valvefloat.

might as well wait to do some head work too and some longtubes, that's what i'm doing and after u will so much happier, and dont forget u will need a tune too.
