Wassup guys, I'm a newbie both on this board and to the Mustang community. I own a silver 00' GT and I am having a difficult time choosing between the 2 types of supercharger between Kenne Bell and Procharger. Right now, I'm leaning towards a Kenne Bell but would really like to hear from someone really knowledgeable with both these superchargers or to the people that has these superchargers in their car. I want the best street setup that can smoke alot of the competition (SS,Z28,GTO) and possibly 03'-04' Cobras.
Lastly, is it worth superchargering a 2V or should I save up and get 4V 03'-04' Cobra? Sorry for all the questions but if need any questions be answered, I know I can get it from here. Thanks in advance!

And, dont forget the price difference between the two... the KB setup is almost twice as much as your avg centrifugal setup.

i would say super charge your 2v. if something breaks it is cheaper to fix.
secondly, i haven't had a kb but i have had a saleen blower(same roots style), and i currently run a paxton novi 2000. the saleen blower definetly had some torque off the line, but i like the centrifugal s/c much better. (i get mistaken for an airplane flying low when i'm going through parking lots )
there's a guy on mph forums with a built bottom end, heads, cams, and a novi 2000 putting down 708rwhp. i don't think a kb on a GT will put down that much. i could be wrong though

Thanks for the reply guys. From what I've gathered, If I'm a light to light person, I'd probably be better of with a KB but if I get pulled on on the hwy, the Procharger will provide me with more power for the high end.

the saleen blower and the KB are about as close as a cobra and a escort. They are nothing alike.

CDT, i realize that the blowers obviously are way different in power, but the same logic applies (both roots style). i don't think he is going for big power unless he builds his bottom end anyhow.
