i'm planning on picking up some new wheels for my '98 in a couple months or so and wanted to know whats a good size performance wise, to take to the drag strip and a road course once in a while. i know welds or something along those lines would be great to have, but i just can't really afford having several sets of wheels right now. so ya, what sizes should i be looking at?

17's are a good all around size and i think it goes as follows 7" wide-225 smallest 8" wide-235smallest 9" wide-245smallest
according to manufactures reccomendations but if u really wanted to u could put skinner on there and streetch the tire like the drifters do! and jus get the side wall height to fill the wheel well or what not
