I am a big fan of this stuff and it's GREAT to meet and shake hands with these guys. Took mom a couple years ago and got Montana's signature. Stand up guy, shook my mothers hand and all. She was one of the biggest fans of him back in the day.

Thanks for the link!! I think I'm gonna have to do that. The hard part is picking who I want!!
I actually have a full size 49er helmet that is signed by Brent Jones and personalized to me when I met him while he was walking through the mall. I ran to the sports store and bought it so he could sign it for me .
Who do you think I should go with? Montana, Young, or Rice? I could spend about $420 and have all 3 of them on the helmet along with Jones...that would be sweet..even though it would cost a lot.

Not sure how many I'll get. It'll depend on the deal I can get on some authentic jersies and helmets. I know it'd be cool to get the helmet you have signed but I'd stress against it. Being that it's personalized it will never be worth anything. Even if you are getting it for yourself, get them on something alone so one day, MANY years from now if you are in a rut, you always have that
Either way, ENJOY! It's a once in a lifetime experience!

Make sure you get the most out of your experience. Ask to please shake their hands, they'll be happy to do so. You can also have a friend with you with a camera who can take a picture of the two of you, whoever you get to sign at that time, you'll just lean into them where they sit. Everyone was MORE THAN WILLING to be nice and do all this but Young, he did it, but acted like it was taking up his precious 30 seconds. Montana and Rice were awesome!

What a great experience that was!
Here's a few pics of my autographed helmet. The guy messed up and accidentally allowed me to have an inscription from Steve Young without paying. It threw me off guard and took me a few seconds to decide what I wanted! On a side note, Jerry Rice was an awesome guy to meet. Very friendly and appreciative of all his fans who were there and shook everyone's hands without hesitation. Young and Montana was pretty much rushed through unfortunately.

Then I ran across a deal that was way too hard to pass up. As a result, I am now the proud owner of 3 signed baseballs from Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, and Willie Mays...3 of the top 4 homerun hitters of all time!! When I was buying them, this guy was hammering out a deal to sell his Babe Ruth signed ball to the vendor. After some negotiations, the vendor bought it for $3,500. I had to take a couple pics of it of course.

Below are a few pics of the legends

i was just curiuos of how many of you guys seen the news peice a few weeks back about memorabilia fruad? pretty interesting there were "starving artist" duplicating the signatures identical there was a one guy that did over 200 different signatures. they just sent him these artist the stuff and the signed it and mailed it back. they even faked the authenticity(sp?) papers. even had John Elway on there pointing out the things he never acutally signed, and he signed it looked just like his signature. most of the stuff was sold on ebay.

They had a bunch of boxing memorabilia. I didn't really look much, but I saw a lot of Muhammad Ali stuff. Not sure if they had Tyson, but I wouldn't doubt it.
