I am trying to back up videos and mp3 to cd so that I can delete them off my harddrive. My laptop hd is full. The program that came with my dell won't allow me to burn more than 1 cd worth.

I may just have to buy an external hard drive since I was dumb and not upgrade the hd when I bought this computer a few months ago.

I was checking download.com but don't really know what I'm looking for.

I am looking on ebay for an external hard drive I think that will work best. I already put 40 gigs worth of video and mp3 on my Ipod now I need it off my laptop but I still want the files.

Yeah your best bet is an external hard drive. Fry's should have one. Antoher option is buy a dvd burner. You can get 4.7GB on a DVD.
