Lift the motor enough so you can slide them in.

a word of advice, if you leave them sitting on your dining room table they aren't going to install themselves.

2 ways to do it jack your car up, support it on jacks stands loosen your motor mount up take the nut off one side. jack the motor up and it will tilt up side ways lil by lil, lift it till you have enoung room to get the header in (passenger side you might neeed to remove the starter)
or just remove the kmember completely just support the motor with a cherry picker [ April 04, 2012, 06:37 PM: Message edited by: SwEeT 03 Gt ]

+1..this is best way to do it..also, i use a 2x4 block and jack the motor up from the perimeter of the oil pan so you dont apply pressure to the pan itself when jacking up. if you have some extra spending money, buy a tubular k-member. It'll make this job 5x's easier..
