My blinkers and vent controls completley stopped working the other day. At first they would work periodically sometimes when I drove but now they completley stopped working all together.
What should I do first?

Check the fuses and them for a short circuit. Check the schematic in a chiltons manual to find out where the possible short could be if its not a blown fuse.

San Fransisco is one of the highest paid fire departments in the world but this year they actually took a 7% pay cut. I would love to get on with San Fransisco if I can.

Get a wiring diagram and try to find a circuit in common, like a common power wire, ground or relay.

What do you mean a circuit in common? I have a wiring diagram out of my chiltons manual that's pretty in depth.

I looked at the diagram for 2 mins, and gave up LOL. My 91 is doing the same thing, but Its my beater, so I gave up trying to fix it. When you figure it out, let me know what it was. Thanks:)

Yeah I think it might be a short or something because before the vents and blinkers entirely went out they sometimes work. And now they just don't work at all.
Is there any possibility it could be the ignition switch? [ September 18, 2003, 10:22 AM: Message edited by: 91sleeper ]

Ok guys I have checked my fuse panel and have no blown fuses, what could be causing this problem? Now last night my blinkers and vents worked for like 10 minutes and then I went and parked and then when I turned my car back on they wern't working AGAIN. It's pretty frusturating.
What wires, grounds, ect. should I check?
